- Compass Mining Remote Operations Agents monitor all of our hosting facilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- When miners go offline unexpectedly, our remote agents will perform remote diagnostics and basic troubleshooting. Sometimes this is all that's needed to get miners back online and hashing.
- If remote troubleshooting fails, remote agents coordinate directly with onsite technicians across all our hosting facilities to conduct further hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostics, ultimately determining the root cause of your miner being offline.
- When a miner requires repair, remote agents will create a repair task for it. Customers will receive an email with all of the details, requesting the review of the details and prompting approval within the Compass Mining Dashboard.

Compass Mining processes miner repairs in three main categories.
Onsite
- Power supply, control board, and ASIC fan replacements all occur onsite across all of our facilities. These repairs typically have a faster turnaround time.
Off-site, out of warranty
- When miners require advanced hashboard repairs that fall outside the manufacturer's warranty, they must be shipped to our repair center for servicing. Turnaround time can range from 4 to 6 weeks due to logistics variability. There is a flat shipping fee of $160, which covers shipping to and from the service center.
RMA Warranty
- When miners require repair within the manufacturer's warranty period, they must be shipped to an authorized warranty repair center for parts replacements or advanced hashboard repairs. There is a flat shipping fee of $80, which covers shipping one-way to the warranty center. Manufacturers cover the return shipment.
