What is a reservation ID?
A reservation ID is used to track your orders with Compass Mining. Each time you buy a new miner or miner package a reservation ID is created with all the details of that order. These details include:
- Order date
- Miner details
- Facility location
- Sale price
- Order quantity
- Etc.
These details are used to track the miners associated with your account and will be reflected on your customer dashboard. As miners go online the reservation details will update accordingly to reflect the latest status of your account.
Why does Compass ask for my Reservation ID?
Compass has tens of thousands of miners online for our customers. Providing a reservation ID helps us assess the state of your account and come to a quick resolution. This can help us resolve issues with billing, deployments, miners, etc. You will be asked to provide a reservation ID when completing your support ticket form. Doing so accurately helps us resolve your ticket quicker.
Where can I find my reservation ID?
Reservation IDs can be found under Order Tracker within your customer Dashboard. If you have multiple orders with Compass you will see a list of reservation IDs. It is important to provide accurate IDs, if able, because this will speed up the ticket resolution.
